This front squeegee has been made to work on the Clarke CA30 20B floor scrubber and is constructed of gum rubber. This front squeegee is part of the scrubber assembly that also holds the rear squeegee. The front squeegee is slotted so that the dirty solution on the floor moves into the vacuum recovery chamber for removal. The gum rubber material works well on smooth and even indoor floors but shouldn't be used on oily floors since gum rubber can absorb the oil and start to lose its rigidity. If the squeegee is leaving streaks or not leaving the floor completely dry, it is time to either replace or rotate your squeegee blades. Each squeegee blade can be used in all four directions by using the front side, then rotating so the back side is facing forward. Then, you can flip it upside down, and use both of those surfaces. Doing this greatly increase the squeegee lifespan. We recommend rotating your squeegees every 20 hours of scrubbing to encourage even wear.
