The reason why this Hawk 1.5 horsepower rotary floor sanding machine is the perfect floor maintenance tool is because of the dual capacitors, optional vacuum recovery system, and the extra heavy-duty 1.5 horsepower motor. The dual capacitors store extra energy for start-up when the machine has a lot of drag on it which comes in handy when sanding floors because a lot of power is required to get the driver to initially turn. The low 175 RPM speed is great for leveling areas quickly. Not only can this machine be used for sanding, but it can also be used with a 17" poly brush for heavy scrubbing. You can use many different brushes along with one of our floor cleaning solutions for the ultimate in floor scrubbing!

With the purchase of the optional dust pick-up system, you can simply hook up a vacuum to the 1.5" vacuum port on the apron which allows for immediate recovery of dust and debris. A backpack vacuum, canister vac, or wet/dry vacuum can be used to instantly recover any dust that is created.
