The main features of the Dura 18HD are a great warranty, a 9-gallon solution tank, an endless run time, and a great recovery system. With the breakaway squeegee system (as long as your blades are maintained), it will recover nearly 100% of the solution laid down, leaving your floors dry to the touch after the squeegee system passes over them. A splash skirt is also included with the machine to ensure that the scrubbing solution is contained within the head of the unit and not splashing out in every direction, requiring extra passes for recovery.

If you are going to be using this machine to clean rubber floors, sports courts, or other high-friction areas, you should pick up a soft nylon scrubbing brush, which is softer than the one included with the machine. We also recommend picking up a pair of polyurethane front and rear squeegees which are made to recover the water better than the included squeegees. We suggest these additional accessories, as high friction floors can cause high amperage draw on your brush motor which can potentially cause your brush motor to fail.
